Draft · not in force
Privacy
Your
data.
A placeholder while DJ back 2 back is in beta. It is not in force, and no lawyer has written or checked it yet. What the service keeps today is listed here so you can see it.
What we keep
- Your account: your email, your DJ name, and the bio and kit you add. Your password is kept only as a one-way hash.
- Your logins: each login is a random token, kept only as a hash.
- Your library, if you add it: artist names, genre shares, and which DJ software they came from. Never your track list or files.
- Your sessions: the codes you make or join, when, with whom, and how long they ran; and the invites you send and answer.
- Purchases: what you bought and when. Payments go through Stripe; we never see your card.
- The message boards: what you post and reply, and the posts you report.
- Sign-up and log-in tries: your internet address and the email tried, for up to an hour, to stop password guessing.
What we don't keep
Your sound goes from your app to the other DJ's. We don't record it.
Who sees what
- Other DJs see your DJ name, your top genres, and the artists you share with them. The DJ you link with also gets your internet address, so the two apps can connect.
- Cloudflare runs the site and passes your requests, so it handles your internet address too.
- Stripe takes payments.
Placeholder: anything more, and how long each thing is kept.
Deleting your account
If you delete your account, we remove your email, DJ name, bio, kit, password, logins, library profile and invites, and your board posts, topic titles and reports are replaced with '[removed]'. Your past sessions and purchases stay, shown under 'Deleted DJ' with no email. Purchases keep the payment reference, and Stripe keeps its own payment record.
You can do it on your account page.
